Haltio Privacy Policy

In short: Haltio has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. Your data stays on your iPhone and we have no access to it.

What the app reads from Apple Health

With your permission, Haltio reads your sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), heart rate, weight, steps, active energy, date of birth and workouts, including their GPS route. This data is used only to show your recovery, training sessions and trends in the app.

Haltio can also write the meals you log and the weigh-ins you import to Apple Health. You can revoke these permissions at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Haltio.

Apple Health data is never used for advertising or sold, and it never leaves your iPhone through Haltio.

What you enter in the app

Your training log, routines, goals, notes and progress photos are stored only on your iPhone. They are included in your device's iCloud or local backup if you have enabled it, as with any app. An export is only created when you ask for one, and you choose where to send it.

Calendar and camera

If you allow it, Haltio checks your calendar to see whether your workout slots are free. It does not change or send anything. The camera is used to take progress photos and scan barcodes. Photos stay on your iPhone.

Coach

Coaching tips are generated directly on your iPhone, using Apple Intelligence. No data is sent to any external artificial intelligence service.

Garmin and other watches

Haltio does not connect directly to Garmin or any other manufacturer. If your watch writes its data to Apple Health (for example via Garmin Connect › Connected Apps › Apple Health), Haltio reads it there, like the rest of your Health data, and it stays on your iPhone.

External services

Two features contact a public service without sending your identity:

• Weather: if you pick a city, its coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to get the forecast.
• Food scan: the scanned barcode is sent to Open Food Facts to find the product.

As with any internet connection, these services see your device's IP address. Their own privacy policies apply.

Haltio+ subscription

Purchases are handled entirely by the App Store. Apple processes the payment; Haltio only learns that the subscription is active, with no payment details.

Children

Haltio is not intended for children under 13.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app erases everything Haltio has stored on your iPhone. Data written to Apple Health is managed in the Health app.
